Slow Down...
We are running every moment of our life morning till night, day after day, year after year in name of journey to achieve success. From childhood we are taught that if we want to be happy then we must start running after our dreams. Such heavy words "success" and "dreams". We are like donkeys who keeps on running to eat the carrot that hangs through a stick. To be honest we are quiet better than that because we sometimes even manage to have a bite on carrot and we think we are successful. We are always in a race to finish first, to have a upper hand in every fight, we want to become famous all the time. We want to reach office before time, we want to be promoted with both position and package, we want to win every argument..
But have you heard any great inventor coming first in all their classes, ever heard them running to office, fighting to prove if they are always right. No, never, they were never in a rush. I have read about Einstein he was a violin player and if I am not wrong its all about timing. The right note has to be played at the right time for best music. Like wise you got to be patient in all ways. Wait to understand what exactly is happening before you react. In most of arguments people don't listen what the other is saying, they are so busy in running the argument. Stop running.. take your time to understand why is this happening? what is the reason? what is the purpose?
The solution is somewhere down the line only you got to slow down to see it coming...
People run for success but they do not realize that even after success they are not happy. Because the real happiness in not at the end.. it is in the journey..
Start with slowing down on your thought process, do not worry about failures. Stop and listen to your heart it will show you the path.. just ENJOY!
Let's read a story:
Every body must have read the story of Hare and tortoise.
Once there lived in a forest a hair and a tortoise. The hare was very
proud of his speed. He made fun of the tortoise for his slow speed. The
tortoise challenged the hare to have a race with him. The hare accepted
the challenge.
The race started. The crow was the referee. The hare ran very fast.
The tortoise was left much behind. The hare stopped to take rest under a
tree. He fell asleep. The tortoise passed him and reached the winning
post. The hare woke up and ran as fast as he could. He saw that the
tortoise was already there at the winning post. He had won the race. But what did the tortoise do on the way to the race. As he was slow he saw many green leaves and fresh bushes. He went to the race but also was enjoying those fresh food he saw. Stopped by the pond for fresh water. Because even though the race was small for hare but it was like a marathon for the tortoise. Had he not taken all that he would have definitely given up the race as there would have been no fun at all.
So moral of the story is not in running fast or slow but in enjoying your life the most even while in your journey to last chance...
